Tiwa Amazon The Tiwa Amazon was idealized inside of the most modern tourism concepts. The power of high technology of sewage and water treatment, with responsible use of energy and materials, garbage collect, and working in a way to respect the nature and integrating the local community. Tiwa with an area of 4 km² has the comfortable of a resort associated to jungle lodge facilities at the same time. The resort was built around of a tropical lake in the right riverbank of the Negro River surrounded by the forest, even though, close to Manaus city. The transfer from International Airport Eduardo Gomes (Manaus) until the port takes around 15 minutes, after that just 30 minutes more navigating across the giant Negro River. The region and environment changes every week by influence of the water level, which varies in 7 meters along the year. In June, the river reaches the highest level with the touching the sea wall in the front of resort. While in December, the beach counts on more than 150 meters of length. The sand of the beach is white offering excellent possibilities to walk the side of the forest. Arriving at resort, you will be enchanted with the comfort and charming of bungalows, built in tropical wood over stilts along the lake. Each bungalow is divided in two chalets with private bathroom and verandah with pleasant view to the lake. The 52 apartments are large and accommodate 2 (two) adults and 2 (two) children up to 15 years in the second floor (mezzanine). The cold wind from the lake provides a natural fresh and fanned environment to the chalets, besides of air-conditioning and hot shower available. Everything is made to create an environment able to offer a high standard stay and a remarkable experience in the Amazon region. Thus, television and telephone are available only on reception in the main building. Resort counts on a river beach, swimming pool and restaurant, where the national and international menu is served in buffet style. In addition, leisure area, living area, "Pirate Bar" serving the swimming pool, access to the Internet (at the Reception).
